  Charity Bingo Goes Up In Smoke
 

It seems as if it’s not just the UK Bingo scene that’s suffering (player) withdrawal symptoms following draconian smoking bans (see earlier posts). This report from the Bellingham Herald in the States suggests that charity organizations that relied on Bingo as a major tool to raise funds are getting into trouble as players who like a puff are taking their Bingo business to halls on Native American reservations, which are unaffected by the smoking ban.
