  If At First You Don’t Succeed . . .

Here’s a story to give you hope if you’ve found Lady Luck to be a bit of a stranger at your online or land-based Bingo sessions. The Eastern Daily Press have the heart-warming tale of a Suffolk gran who, after 35 years of determined Bingo playing, hit the jackpot of the National Bingo Game at her local club. The prize? All in. £101,486. It would seem that good things do indeed come to those who wait!

Apparently everyone at Val Phillip’s club expressed surprise at how calm she was on completing the full house, but I guess if I’d put in such amazing dedication to playing Bingo as Mrs. Phillips has, I’d be sanguine about bagging a big prize sooner or later. I think this is what they mean by ‘playing the long game’ . . .
